This position is Remote however, the candidate must reside in the Sacramento area. Candidates not located in this area will not be considered.

Our FiberCities® are built citywide to help close the digital divide and are future proofed with Smart City connectivity placed throughout the city. SiFi Networks’ policy is to dig once, negating future fiber deployment cost and disruption to the city.

The right candidate will work within the Northern California FiberCities®.

Who we’re looking for:

We are looking for an experienced professional to join the team. Experienced in delivering large multi-faceted telecommunications projects, managing all aspects of the project from design through to delivery, timescales, financial budgets and managing all contractors.

The successful candidate will be assigned a territory to cover and potentially other surrounding communities. They will be responsible for all elements of the project from design, securing funding, mobilization through to project close out and the ongoing support of the City post project completion. Other duties include:

• Lead on all prefunding activities for delegated Cities to ensure City are Project Ready at time to achieve business plan, and all risks have been identified, documented, and plans to work around or resolve.
• Civils build management.
• Contract management
• Local and State(s) jurisdiction authority engagement.
• Process management with local authorities
• Oversite of all construction activities within Area.
• Knowledge Share
• Management of City Project Managers
• Contract Management working closely with Owners Representatives.
• Contract Negotiation
• Operational Forecasting
• Overall Programme Management & Scheduling
• Supporting Business Development Teams in negotiations with Cities.
• Engagement with City officials during lifecycle of the projects to ensure smooth delivery of citywide fiber optic network.
• Construction technique evaluation & approvals/rejections.
• Construction Partners evaluation and approvals/rejections.
• Work with the contractor’s senior management team on issue resolution.
• Ensure that all contractors are following the guidelines laid down by the Owner.
• Other responsibilities as may be required to facilitate the project’s success.
• Create & maintain reporting process on materials and progress.
• Supporting the business in new opportunities.
• Contribute to the companies ISO9001 systems
• Travel around the US will be required
