The successful candidate must reside in California and will cover the assigned territory which includes our Placentia & Fullerton, CA FiberCity locations and may expand to other areas as business grows.

We are looking for an experienced project manager professional to join the team, that has experience in delivering large multi-faceted telecommunications projects, managing all aspects of the project from delivery timescales, budgets and all contractors.

The right candidate will primarily be responsible for the effective management of all designated FiberCity projects and associated budgets and schedules, including coordinating all deliverables and requirements of the entire cross-functional project team. Manage a team of Subcontractors, Design Partners, Construction Managers, Field Construction Inspectors and Project Coordinators to ensure projects are completed on time and budget. Ensure that the Area Manager, Chief Operating Officer and partners are aware of issues that will impact timely project completion or cost, and pro-actively seek to identify and communicate any schedule and budget risks.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Engagement with all contractors at City Project level of the last mile network with assistance of the Program team and contractors: daily/weekly/monthly reporting
  • Responsibility of keeping projects on budget and on program
  • Build Program scheduling
  • Safety coordination with assigned contractors
  • Monitor/Manage and report finance goals per City
  • Review and maintenance of City Program schedules with assistance of Contractor and Program Team
  • Assist in additional City preliminary surveys and overall City Program meeting
  • Procurement/supply chain management
  • Co-ordination with all contracting parties for the successful delivery of SiFi networks projects
  • Coordinate City Project Kickoff and quarterly contractor reviews.
  • Qualification of field personnel and management
  • Any additional duties assigned by Manager
  • Representing SiFi Networks in a professional and courteous manner at all times
  • Coordinate with Architect the process for obtaining necessary permits
  • Manage project to support the core company values and meet/exceed expectations
  • Other responsibilities as may be required to facilitate the project’s success
  • Create & maintain reporting process on materials and progress
  • Supporting the business in new opportunities

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred

Experience/Minimum Requirements:

  • Five (5) years of project management experience (Construction/Telcom preferred)
  • Managing project budgets or related financial experience
  • Customer-facing project management experience
  • Previous people management experience required

Other Skills/Abilities:

  • Advanced knowledge of construction/telecommunications project management, asset management, and property management
  • Advanced knowledge of Public and Private right of way project deployment, including regulatory and permitting processes
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints along with civil inside & outside plant construction methods
  • Ability to direct the diagnosis of workflow problems, critical paths and institute remedies
  • Ability to read and understand financial metrics and identify remedies to financial issues
  • Customer service orientation with a strong problem-solving approach
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage and process multiple data streams
