Together, the companies are bringing an innovative connectivity solution to the City of Escondido, focused on delivering fast, reliable, and future-ready internet to homes and businesses across the community through SiFi’s fiber optic network.
SiFi Networks is privately funding, building and operating the open access fiber network, Escondido FiberCity®, which plans to deliver some of the fastest speeds available throughout the City of Escondido. Viasat is among the Internet Service Providers that will offer this internet service to homes and businesses throughout the city.
Through this collaboration, residents and businesses in Escondido will have access to world-class connectivity, promoting a more connected community within the city.
