Construction& Restoration

Prior to any work commencing, you will see colored flags placed by your local utility providers. These identify where their infrastructure is located to ensure we work safely through your area avoiding any conflicts with existing utilities.

Step 1: Boring – This involves installing the black bore tubing underground.

Step 2: Micro Trenching – In this phase, we use a micro trench machine to create a trench in the parkway where colorful micro ducts are placed into the ground. Any exposed black bore tubing is buried.

Step 3: Restoration – As part of our restoration efforts following underground fiber installation, your property may be treated with hydroseed or grass matting. Hydroseeding is a process where a mixture of grass seed, fertilizer, mulch, and a binding agent is sprayed to quickly establish new grass and restore disturbed areas.

Hydroseeding – What is applied?
Grass seed (approved blend for your area)
Fertilizer to encourage growth
Paper/fiber mulch to hold moisture
Tackifier (binding agent) to help the mixture stay in place

Hydroseeding – How to maintain your new lawn
Watering is essential. Lightly water 2–3 times per day, keeping the soil moist until grass reaches 2–3 inches tall.
Limit activity. Avoid walking, mowing, or disturbing the area until grass is established.
First mowing. Wait until the grass is 3–4 inches tall. Use sharp mower blades.
Ongoing care. Continue watering during dry periods. Fertilize again after 6–8 weeks if desired.

Hydroseeding – What to expect
Germination typically begins within 7–14 days, depending on weather and watering.
Full coverage can take 4–6 weeks.
Some patchiness is normal; areas usually fill in with time and proper care.

Important: The success of the hydroseeded area depends heavily on homeowner watering and care. Without consistent watering, the grass will not properly establish.

Once the hydroseeding or grass matting has been laid, you may remove the flags.
