New Internet Service Providers Join Kenosha’s Open Access FiberCity® Network

Monday, September 23, 2024

Kenosha FiberCity® has launched a further two internet service providers onto its fiber infrastructure. The network is being built citywide to deliver superfast fiber internet speeds to residents and businesses in the city, helping to close the digital divide.

Coextro and SUMOFIBER are the latest providers to join the Kenosha FiberCity® network, to deliver fiber connectivity services specifically to residents in apartments and condos above 12 units, as well as to business premises in the city. They join the existing provider on the network, T-Mobile Fiber, which services residential single-family homes and communities with 12 units and under.

SUMOFIBER and Coextro are both experienced internet service providers who have successfully delivered internet services for over a decade.

You can sign up now for residential and business subscriptions at kenoshafibercity.com.

For apartment and condo buildings a simple Right of Entry (ROE) agreement will need to be obtained from the property managers to connect the building. Once connected, residents that sign up can experience internet speeds amongst the fastest in the country.

“We are delighted to welcome Coextro and SUMOFIBER as ISP partners, demonstrating a truly open access network” commented Ben Bawtree-Jobson, CEO SiFi Networks. “We are excited to be able to give residents in apartments and condos, as well as businesses in the city more choice of providers”.

All FiberCity® networks are open access, which means multiple service providers can access the network to deliver their services. Open access is one network for all, eradicating the need to overbuild infrastructure in communities and it also encourages a more competitive, customer focused approach to delivering internet services, making for a great experience for customers.

Fiber connectivity is vital for the future of multi dwelling communities. It can help retain residents and attract new. Fiber also increases the asset value and future proofs the building for current and future technologies.

Businesses that sign up with either SUMOFIBER or Coextro can also benefit from faster speeds, better security, more reliability and get access to better business services.

Property owners can find out more information and receive a copy of the ROE by visiting kenoshafibercity.com or by emailing travis@sifinetworks.com.
