Placentia FiberCity® is delighted to announce its participation in the City-Wide Volunteer Day event taking place Saturday, April 22nd.
The City-Wide Volunteer Day event is hosted by Love Placentia, an organization committed to making a difference in Placentia through acts of kindness and by understanding and meeting the needs of residents.
This annual Volunteer Day event brings in hundreds of volunteers who help make an impact in the parks, community buildings and schools by completing important projects throughout the city. On April 22nd, volunteers will start their day at El Dorado High School at 8:00am and begin their designated volunteering duties at 9:00am.
“We are looking forward to participating in this great event. Love Placentia initiatives are fully funded through community sponsorships and donations and we couldn’t be happier to support them. During Volunteer Day, I will be the Project Leader of the painting project at Topaz Elementary School. We are excited to do our part for the community of Placentia,” commented Lorena Maae, Community Relations Specialist, Placentia FiberCity®.
