Leadership Transition at SiFi Networks America Ltd
SiFi Networks America Ltd, the leading provider of open-access fiber infrastructure in the United States, is pleased to announce a series of leadership appointments, effective immediately:
Ben Bawtree-Jobson, who has served as Chief Executive Officer since 2013, will transition into the role of Chief Strategy Executive, where he will focus on driving future growth and expanding the platform’s reach.
Ian Wade has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) ad interim. The company will shortly be launching a formal search process to identify and appoint a permanent CEO to lead SiFi Networks America into its next chapters of growth.
Since its inception, SiFi Networks has evolved from a visionary concept into a national leader in open-access fiber infrastructure, with over 290,000 passings and 130,000 serviceable addresses. The leadership changes announced today reflect the company’s commitment to strengthening its executive team and strategic direction as it enters a new phase—one focused on delivery, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. This phase will be critical in cementing SiFi’s operational track record and preparing the company for its next wave of expansion.

Prior to joining SiFi Networks as a Director in July 2025, Ian served as Chief Financial Officer at Gigaclear, where he played a pivotal role in scaling the business and securing funding for rural fiber deployments across the UK. His expertise in financial modeling and operational efficiency will be instrumental in guiding SiFi Networks through its next phase of growth and investment planning. Ian’s leadership is marked by a strong focus on sustainable business models and long-term value creation.
