Our CEO Ben Bawtree-Jobson has been invited to TMT M&A Forum USA in New York this week to be a part of an influential panel of broadband experts to discuss how the open access landscape is evolving. Joining Ben is Intrepid Fiber Networks’ Jack Waters, UTOPIA Fiber’s Roger Timmerman and Underline’s Bob Thompson.

The panel will talk about the extent to which the open access model enables faster returns on fiber investments, and will investigate sustainable wholesale pricing strategies and business models. The group will also discuss the architecture behind an open-access network and how likely it is that major US telecom players will venture into the open-access model.

The panel Examining the Expansion of the Open Access Model in the US is part of the Pathfinders Stream and takes place at 11.20 on Thursday 26th September.
