SiFi Networks has been invited to speak alongside the City of Placentia on a panel at the Public Works Officers Institute conference on March 9 in Universal City, CA.
SiFi will take the stage alongside Luis Estevez, Deputy City Administrator from the City of Placentia to tell their story of how the City entered into a unique partnership to deliver fiber optic broadband internet access to every home and business in the city.
The presentation aims to give the audience an insight into the project that is privately funded by SiFi Networks, how the City worked with SiFi to bring the project to fruition, and its unique construction methods used to deploy the network. The panel will also speak about how the network will support smart city applications now and in the future.
Luis will be joined by members of the SiFi team, Marcus Bowman Community Relations Manager, Jean Miller Project Manager and Jordan Harris Area Manager.
“We are excited to address the Public Works Officers at this important event, it’s great to have the opportunity to share how we deploy our citywide fiber networks that are making cities across the country digitally sustainable” commented Marcus Bowman, Community Relations Manager SiFi Networks.
