Escondido, CA – May 15, 2025 – SiFi Networks, a national leader in open-access fiber infrastructure, has teamed up with global broadband innovator Viasat to bring lightning-fast, reliable internet to the City of Escondido. The collaboration will deliver fiber connectivity citywide through the Escondido FiberCity® network.

Privately funded, built and operated by SiFi Networks, Escondido FiberCity® will deliver fiber speeds of up to 10 Gbps. Viasat will join as a key Internet Service Provider, offering top-tier service to homes and businesses across Escondido.

A citywide fiber network not only affords residents and businesses with high-speed internet but also supports economic growth and digital inclusion.
