SiFi Networks is an infrastructure developer, operator and wholesaler who secures long term access agreements to municipal public rights-of-way (ROW) for the private finance, construction, operation and maintenance of citywide fiber to the premise (FttP) networks. Such networks are available to ISPs, creating an expedited route to mass-market expansion without the associated capital cost of entry.
SiFi Networks constructs citywide open access networks under its FiberCity® brand passing 100% of premises within a city in a 24-month timeframe. When the occupier purchases one or many services from an ISP on the network, the premise is connected with fiber through a residential gateway.
Furthermore, each FiberCity® community lacks comparable high-speed service offerings and is typically served by a single telco and cableco.
SiFi Networks has partnered with PATRIZIA and APG, Europe’s largest pension fund, through the Smart City Infrastructure Fund which provides SiFi Networks with financial backing for the delivery of its FiberCity® projects.
