The Kenosha FiberCity® project continues to make impressive strides in building one of the most advanced broadband networks in the region. The city has now surpassed 3 million feet of fiber-optic cable installation, representing more than 530 miles of next-generation infrastructure laid across Kenosha.
Alongside this construction milestone, over 20,000 homes and businesses across the city are now serviceable. Residents and business owners can now access ultra-fast fiber internet capable of powering 4K streaming, lag-free gaming, crystal-clear video calls, and high-speed remote work.
“This is a major step forward for Kenosha,” commented Amanda Bloomer, Community Relations Specialist. “We’re proud to be delivering the connectivity that supports today’s digital lifestyles while also preparing the city for the needs of tomorrow.”
The Kenosha FiberCity® initiative is a key component of the city’s push to enhance digital connectivity and bring faster, more reliable internet to the entire community. By extending fiber directly to homes and businesses, the project is helping bridge the digital divide and making high-speed, future-ready internet accessible and affordable for all residents.
