The Simi Valley FiberCity® project is nearing the completion of construction, at 98%, helping to transform the city’s digital landscape. To date, more than 3 million feet of fiber-optic cable has been installed across Simi Valley, totaling well over 560 miles of high-speed infrastructure built to serve homes, businesses, and public institutions.

This milestone brings Simi Valley one step closer to achieving a fully connected, citywide fiber network capable of supporting the demands of modern life. From remote work and online learning to streaming in 4K and powering smart home technologies, the network is designed to deliver the speed and reliability residents need.

“This is a major investment in Simi Valley’s digital future,” said Geoff Keyser, Project Manager, “with the project 98% complete, we are well on our way to providing the fast, dependable internet access that our community deserves.”

The Simi Valley FiberCity® initiative is helping to build a strong foundation for economic development, digital inclusion, and innovation. As the buildout continues and nears completion, more and more neighborhoods are gaining access to cutting-edge internet service that supports everyday life and future growth.
