You’ll see fiber cable being buried in either a small incision at the side of the roadway, or in the green space behind the curb or next to the sidewalk. SiFi Networks shall be responsible for keeping in good order and repair the sidewalks, curbs, gutters and green space directly impacted by SiFi Networks’ construction from the edge of the public right of way to and between the curb and to the private property line.* We will work closely with the City’s arborist to ensure that trees located in the greenspace are not harmed, and a waterjet machine with a vacuum will be used to carefully dig around the root systems, creating an underground pathway for the fiber micro duct to be installed, without disturbing the trees.
