The Placentia FiberCity® team joined the community at the 56th Placentia Heritage Festival and Parade in Tri-City Park this weekend.
The festival, which celebrates the community spirit and history of Placentia, began with a parade. The Placentia FiberCity® team, along with Internet Service Provider partner GigabitNow, joined in with all the fun which began on Kraemer Boulevard along with a variety of community groups, local high school bands, civil leaders and honored veterans much to the delight of the cheering residents that lined the streets.
Geoff Spickler, VP of Community Relations commented “We had a fantastic time attending the Placentia Heritage Festival this weekend. It was great to meet so many people and talk to them about how we are bringing superfast broadband internet to every home and business in the city”.
The team also had a stand in the Business Expo area of the festival where we had the opportunity to speak to many residents and businesses about how the whole community benefits from the FiberCity® project and high-speed fiber internet connectivity. GigabitNow were also able to answer questions and educate passersby about the service they offer on the network and about the upgrades available on sign up.
